Course Description

This comprehensive course, offered over THREE days, will cover all aspects of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. A world-renowned faculty will present the NEWEST, GROUND BREAKING techniques and procedures. Our faculty has been carefully chosen because of their expertise and innovations in their fields and their commitment to the highest standards of excellence in aesthetic surgery.

COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course will cover aesthetic surgerical procedures as well as non invasive techniques. The newest fillers and lasers will be discussed and dissected. There will be a live demonstration of the latest fillers and injectables available. “How I do it” surgical techniques will be viewed and as this is an interactive symposium questions and answers will be sent to the surgeon automatically. The current status of patient safety and anesthesia and its relationship to plastic surgery will be explained in detail. A separate workshop on “How to Market Your Practice” will be available to Practice Managers, Physicians Assistant etc.

SURGICAL PROCEDURES

A live injection workshop featuring the newest fillers and injectables, performed by experts in the field will supplement the lectures and panel discussions. Surgical procedures narrated by the performing surgeons will be offered. Interactive discussions between the presenters and registrants will permit the audience to communicate directly with the speakers.

This conference is designed for the Aesthetic Plastic Surgeon at all levels of experience who want to increase his/her knowledge of the most up to date, innovative trends and procedures in his/her specialty.

NEEDS ASSESSMENT

The planning committee relied on previous evaluation forms of aesthetic surgery meetings, articles appearing in the various journals, webcasts of new surgical procedures, attendance at the major international plastic surgery symposia and informal peer discussions to ascertain that the need for instruction in aesthetic plastic surgery continues to grow. New trends and new surgical procedures and patient safety issues are at the forefront of the specialty. Stem cell research and its implications on plastic surgery and new non surgical procedures will be addressed. A renowned faculty has been chosen to respond to and address these needs in an interactive environment with ample time for audience discussion and participation. The inclusion of a live injection workshop and surgical viewing will allow the audience to view results and outcomes from the lectures and techniques they are learning.

The New York Academy of Medicine is accredited by the accme to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The New York Academy of Medicine designates this educational activity for 21 Category I Credits toward the physician’s recognition award.
